About My Work

Resin as a medium forms a high gloss glass like finish which is quite spectacular. The problem is that when trying to photograph the work avoiding reflections in the image is very difficult and in doing so fails to convey how striking the actual pieces are.

When I approached the gallery that stocks my work I took some pieces along for approval. Sue, the gallery owner said that if I had only submitted the images she would not have accepted them but seeing them in person created a much stronger impression.

All my resin pieces are unique. I don’t follow any particular themes or form part of a series. I prepare the boards that I do the pours on and over a period of time think about the colours or techniques I want to use. Once I start a pour the piece often takes on a life of its own, sometimes the result is as I imagined.

I have completed several pieces on commission and am happy to respond to any commission enquiries and would want to work with you to create a unique piece for your home.
